Aurora Cannabis Receives Sales License for Vie Facility in Quebec; First Harvest at Aurora Sky

Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX: ACB) (OTCQX: ACBFF) provides the following operational update: On June 29, 2018, eight months after receiving its cultivation license, the Aurora Vie production facility in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, has been granted its Health Canada sales license. The facility, now in full commercial operation, is on target to produce at a rate of 4,000 kg per year of high-quality cannabis by October 2018. Multiple harvests have been completed to date. Upon completion of the second harvest, the Company will request a Health Canada inspection towards receiving a sales license for the facility.

Auxly Provides Development Update on the FV Pharma Joint Venture

Auxly Cannabis Group Inc. (TSXV: XLY) (OTCQB: CBWTF) provides the following construction development update on the joint venture with FV Pharma Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of FSD Pharma Inc. (CSE:HUGE). The facility hosts an initial 620,000 square feet of building space, a portion of which is currently licensed for cultivation pursuant to the ACMPR, and can support additional expansion capacity of approximately 3,800,000 square feet on the existing property. Auxly will contribute $55,000,000 to develop the first phase of the project. The company anticipates that the first phase of construction will be complete by the end of December 2018, and plans to plant the first harvest in the first phase by the end of January 2019. Auxly retains a 49.9% stream of all cannabis and cannabis-derived products produced at the facility.

Hiku Brands Completes Agreement in Manitoba to Supply Almost 2 Million Grams of Cannabis

Hiku Brands Company Ltd. (CSE: HIKU) (OTCPK: DJACF) has completed a supply agreement with Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries (MBLL) to supply almost 2 million grams of cannabis to the province. This agreement puts in place another piece of Hiku’s vertically integrated approach to the cannabis sector and will be part of the supply to Hiku’s award winning storefront brand, Tokyo Smoke, which has been granted permission for up to 10 stores in Manitoba, with up to four in the capital of Winnipeg.

Canopy Growth Completes Supply Agreement With the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation

Canopy Growth Corporation (TSX: WEED) (NYSE: CGC) announced that it has completed an agreement with the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation (MBLL) to supply the province with high quality cannabis products. Under the terms of the agreement, Canopy Growth will supply the Manitoba market with up to 6,500 kilograms of cannabis products over the next twelve months to meet demand from the adult use recreational cannabis market set to open on October 17, 2018. Manitobans can look forward to an industry-leading lineup of products from Tweed, the best-known cannabis brand in Canada, as well as partner brands including DNA Genetics and Leafs By Snoop.

Aphria Signs Supply Agreement with MBLL to Supply Up to 2.7 Million Grams of Cannabis to the Manitoba Adult-Use Market

Aphria Inc. (TSX: APH) (OTCQB: APHQF) today announced that it has signed a Supply Agreement with the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation (MBLL) to provide a portfolio of high-quality, branded cannabis and cannabis derivative products for sale in Manitoba’s adult-use market. Under the terms of the Agreement, the Company will supply up to 2.7 million grams of cannabis and cannabis derivative products in the first year of the agreement, including both Ontario and BC dried flower, pre-rolls and cannabis oils.  

Aphria Announces Closing of Bought Deal Financing

Aphria Inc. (TSX: APH) (OTCQB: APHQF) announced it has closed its short form prospectus offering, on a bought deal basis, including the exercise in full of the underwriters’ over-allotment option. A total of 21,835,510 common shares of the company were sold at a price of $11.85 per share, for aggregate gross proceeds of $258,750,794. The net proceeds of the offering are expected to be used to finance the company’s Extraction Centre of Excellence, its capacity increase at Aphria Diamond, as well as the construction of additional cannabis production facilities globally in both foreign and Canadian jurisdictions where cannabis is legally permitted and the evaluation of strategic acquisitions and investments and other industry related transactions. 

Organigram signs supply agreement with Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries

Organigram Holdings Inc. (TSXV: OGI) (OTCQB: OGRMF) announced that it has been approved as a supplier of cannabis for the province of Manitoba. “We are proud to work with MBLL to offer residents of Manitoba a choice of high-quality cannabis products,” says Tim Emberg, Organigram Vice President of Sales and Commercial Operations.

Maricann Announces Supply Agreement with the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation

Maricann Group Inc. (CSE:MARI) (OTCQB: MRRCF) announced that on June 28, 2018, the company signed a supply agreement with the Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Corporation (MBLL) to make available for purchase by MBLL at least  550,000 grams of various cannabis products during the first twelve months of the agreement.

Abattis Enters Into Definitive Agreement to Launch New Cannabis Lab in Ontario

Abattis Bioceuticals Corp. (CSE:ATT) (OTCQB: ATTBF) announced that it has entered into a definitive investment agreement dated June 27, 2018 with XLABS Therapeutics (ONT) Inc. to launch a new Cannabis laboratory in Belleville, Ontario. The laboratory will be designed to service Ontario’s growing cannabis sector, which currently numbers 59 licensed producers. The laboratory will housed in a 320,000 square foot building (the “Belleville Facility”).  Abattis and XLABs plan for an initial build-out of 10,000 square feet, with plans to expand into the remaining 310,000 square feet available at the Belleville Facility through organic growth and further joint-ventures.
